Grace Odums

 

Grace A. Odums, an independent consultant, has a growing consultancy spanning over fourteen years.  Her impressive client list boasts Fortune 500 and Fortune Global 500 companies including: Disney-ABC Media Networks, Chevron-Phillips, Siemens Medical Solutions, Wells Fargo Company JP Morgan-Chase, the Self-Help Organization and Fairmont Resorts and Hotels.

 

A much sought after international conference speaker, Grace welcomes every opportunity to partner with organizations and professionals in the areas of management coaching, revenue recapture, change leadership, customer care, talent performance improvement/retention, balanced scorecard creation and diversity strategic planning with system wide implementation

 

She has been featured on CN8 – Comcast Newsmakers, sharing proven strategies for creating and sustaining a highly engaged workforce. Her voice can be heard in the 2007 radio ad campaign, “Wake Up Your Mind” - Holy Family University.  Grace’s insights addressing “Avoiding Stereotypes” were initially featured opposite the Don Imus recap on the SHRM website.  This video stream is available for viewing via SHRM’s Multimedia Store.

 

Notable published works include: A New Year’s Resolution: Optimize Older Workers - T&D Magazine and Now That You Have Them, How Do You Retain Them? – The Diversity Factor, - Rutgers University.  Her current release Diversity Principles: Strategic Integration, earned second highest in gross sales at the SHRM’s National Diversity Conference – 2007.  It is regarded as on of the Great 8 Diversity Resources, according to the SHRMStore.   In addition, Grace has written and produced scores of procedural manuals in the industries of banking, mortgage lending and healthcare and has logged thousands of hours in course design and platform delivery.

 

Serving in several influential positions including Senior Manager, Training and Staff Development – Wells Fargo Home Mortgage[1] and Assistant Vice President, Affordable Housing Program Manager – GMAC Mortgage.  Grace received her professional training at Holy Family, Arcadia and Temple Universities and the University of the District of Columbia.

 

A native of New York, she is the proud godmother of four beautifully genius godsons: Joshua, Malik, Daniel and Joseph and adores her brilliantly talented niece Tanya Sherise.
