The Certification Core Leadership Area is committed to aiding the State Council in achieving its mission to advance and serve the Human Resource profession by promoting the certification of its professionals.

Currently HR Professionals can elect certification via SHRM or HRCI or both

SHRM Certified Professional and Senior Certified Professionals

Two Paths to take: 

For those currently certified with HRCI as PHR or SPHR, you will only need to compete a FREE tutorial as long as you are in good standing with you PHR or SPHR certification.  Registration will be open effective January 5, 2015!

For those not certified yet you can prepare for the NEW SHRM CERTIFICATION as a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.  There will be several organizations around Maryland offering the first new SHRM certification class. Click here for more information!
