Great news about a new webinar program!

    Our MD SHRM State Council is partnering with other SHRM state councils in New England and Mid-Atlantic states to offer low-cost, high-quality Webinars for HR professionals. They are pre-approved for HRCI recertification credits and typically 1 hour in length from 9 – 10 a.m. with 9-11 webinars presented in a calendar year – devoted to workplace law presentations.

    2012 marked the seventh consecutive year that the number of charges filed under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has increased. Much of the agency’s ADA litigation has focused on employer’s so-called inflexible leave policies.
