Workforce Readiness

    Suzanne M. Motta, SHRM-CP

MD SHRM Council Director Workforce Readiness

The Society for Human Resource Management believes that government and employers play a role in providing worker training and development opportunities to maintain a skilled labor force. SHRM also is committed to helping HR professionals remove the barriers that may prevent qualified workers from being fully considered for jobs—particularly because of their long-term unemployment status.

MDSHRM supports Workforce Readiness by providing ready resources for our chapters and promoting Chapter Workforce Readiness Events.  If you know of any other Workforce Readiness programs within the state, please email us at: marylandshrm@gmail.com

    EVENTS:

    Disney Institute-Leadership Excellence

Join us June 24, 2022 in Germantown, Maryland for “Disney’s Approach to Leadership Excellence,” presented by Disney Institute and sponsored by Montgomery College.

A leader is far more than a label—leadership is about taking actions to create sustained, positive transformations within an organization. Great leaders align their own values and vision with those of their business and help operationalize them for the future.

In this unique, one-day workshop, participants will learn Disney's time-tested leadership strategies and methods for improving team productivity and business results.
